Vegan Caprese Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Salad:

  • 4 large tomatoes, sliced

  • 1 pound (about 450g) firm tofu or vegan mozzarella, sliced

  • Fresh basil leaves

  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Arrange tomato and tofu or vegan mozzarella slices on a serving platter, alternating them.

  • Place fresh basil leaves between the tomato and tofu slices.

  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  • Sprinkle it with salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve and enjoy your Vegan Caprese Salad!

Non-Vegan Alternative:

If you prefer a non-vegan version, you can replace the tofu or vegan mozzarella with 1 pound (about 450g) sliced fresh mozzarella. Adjust the quantities based on your preferences.
