Vegan Cheesy Baked Cauliflower Recipe


Ingredients:
1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until the cauliflower is evenly coated.
Spread the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, tossing halfway through, or until the cauliflower is tender and the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Non-Vegan Alternative:
For a non-vegan version, you can add 1 cup of shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese to the cauliflower mixture before baking. Ensure the cheese is distributed evenly.
